When things look black, there’s always a silver lining
When things look black, there’s always a silver lining is a well-worn saying that reminds us to make the best of a bad situation.
When I look back at the past several years beginning with the 2020 shut down and the assorted strong arm tactics used by governments and corporations working together to deny us our civil liberties I may wish to get mad I may wish to get even but instead I have chosen to give thanks.
After picking ourselves up and dusting our self-off we get to hear the mocking words of politicians stating they did not have the authority or the power to enforce one dam mandate they enacted it was our faults they say for not resisting and getting back to normal faster. Again, I can get mad or I can give thanks. I choose to give thanks. Let me explain.
Millions of people in the USA woke up to the reality their government was as corrupt as any 2 bit dictatorship. People all over the earth rallied in the streets refusing to bow down to the tyrannical measures levied against them. Hundreds of people became independent journalists others took it upon themselves to walk down the street with a video cam sharing what they were seeing from empty hospitals and empty mortuaries to empty tents in central park. We saw people challenging the police the government and going online to share what they were finding. When the news was saying the bodies are stacking up in the street they showed us there were no bodies nothing was happening.
Hundreds of independent online and offline news sites appeared all over the earth headed up by people who came awake and saw a need to report what mainstream was not reporting. The Flame Newspaper was birthed out of this time as was the flame podcast. Many of the guests we have featured were, maddened by what they were seeing and became activists. Today there are ten of millions if not half a billion people who will never allow themselves to undergo what we went through in 2020-2023.
Another silver lining are the millions of parents who began watching what their children were being, taught in public schools thanks to having their kids at home where they could see what was being taught over remote video. These parents discovered much of what was being, taught had nothing to do with the three R’s but everything to do with brain washing and subversion. The result is these parents became, activated. They started attending school board meetings and demanding things change, they changed the school board and put good people in. They removed their kids and enrolled them into Christian private schools or they began homeschooling.
Another, silver lining was parents were able to spend more time with their children and each other thanks to work at home policies. Today many have returned to modified working situations I believe is here to stay.
Another, silver lining was that many people discovered just how woke there church leadership was and changed churches to find fellowships that refused to bow their heads to the illegal mandates and the, woke movement reflected in rainbowism and DIE. These woke churches are shrinking while the conservative ones are growing.
Now with the Israel and Ukraine debacles at the forefront of peoples mind, people who were once ignorant to how corrupt our congressional military industrial complex is are waking up and smelling the coffee for the first time. All those peace nicks turned out to be right while the war pigs are being, shown for who they are, nothing more than mammon worshipping money grubbers willing to shed blood for few more shekels.
Many within and without the church are being faced with the reality they have believed lies about the role modern Israel plays and have discovered they have been following false teachings in the form of Dispensationalism and Zionism which transform modern Israel into an idol that must be worshipped or you won’t be blessed. When the exact opposite is true America has been cursed ever since it began to support this rebellious state.
Just as fire burns off the dead wood, so to do hardships and crisis plays. They force us into seeing what we do not want to see. I call this a wake up call. We have been, handed several wake up calls these past 4 years and I for one am grateful to God for allowing it to take place. I hope you will be too.
